Yasmine and Lilian dreamed of going on vacation in Ticino

Yasmine and Lilian both wished they could go on vacation with their families in Ticino. Their wish was granted during the Easter holidays. Because of their illness, activities outside the home were often very limited, and the children were delighted to be able to take a break, get away from their neighborhood and discover another part of our beautiful country.

Their main destination was Locarno, a beautiful city in Ticino. The seven members of the family first visited the surroundings of their hotel, ideally located in the center. Being big fans of ice cream, the girls were able to enjoy it to their heart’s content. The family also took a beautiful boat cruise on Lake Maggiore, with a guide just for them. Afterwards, they went on an excursion to the Cardada mountain, took the cable car and admired the most beautiful view of the area. The whole family toured Switzerland in a couple of hours, thanks to their visit to Swissminiatur, an unforgettable memory for them!

They all loved their stay and had a great time, which gave them the breath of fresh air they needed. A break from routine and hospitals, a way to spend quality time with their families.
