Maximilian, the mountain superhero

At the beginning of August 2022, Maximilian completed a major challenge for Make-A-Wish Switzerland. He climbed two mountains in the Valais region, the Weissmies and the Lagginhorn, which are over 4000 metres high. 

This young hero was keen to associate his sporting feat with a cause that is dear to him: Make-A-Wish Switzerland’s mission to help seriously ill children fulfil their most heartfelt wish. 

Thanks to a fundraising campaign within his community, Maximilian made a handsome donation to the foundation to contribute to our mission. We are extremely grateful for this wonderful initiative. 

Maximilian was not only able to live one of his dreams, he also did it to help children. What could be more beautiful ? Congratulations for his achievement and for his generosity !
