The 21st Lake Geneva Inter-Hotel and Restaurant Football Tournament

The 21st Lake Geneva Inter-Hotel and Restaurant Football Tournament took place at the Stade des Cherpines in Plan-les-Ouates (canton of Geneva) on Sunday 10 September 2023. Organised on a voluntary basis by a football fan with a big heart, the tournament saw 16 teams made up of employees from hotels, restaurants and companies affiliated to the catering industry compete against each other for the sheer pleasure of sport and friendship, but also with the aim of raising funds to donate to a foundation. Make-A-Wish Switzerland was honoured to be chosen as the beneficiary foundation for this 2023 edition.

Throughout the day, in a festive atmosphere, the teams played one match after another, while the children enjoyed the various activities on offer. Finally, the long-awaited presentation of the trophies brought this sporting and charitable day to a close.

Our heartfelt thanks go to Mr Jérôme Mottier, who organised the tournament, and to all the hotels and catering companies who supported Make-A-Wish Switzerland by taking part. We are also very grateful to all the volunteers who helped out throughout the day and without whom this event would not have been possible. See you next year… !
