An Evening of Charity and Glamour for Make-A-Wish: A Look Back at the Dolce Vita Gala in Lugano

On November 6th, Make-A-Wish Switzerland had the privilege of being at the heart of the prestigious Dolce Vita gala, organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Switzerland at the Hotel de la Paix in Lugano. This unique gathering combined Italian elegance and networking opportunities, under the banner of glamour and solidarity.

During this evening, an exceptional auction raised valuable funds that will be donated to Make-A-Wish Switzerland. These funds will directly contribute to providing moments of hope and magic to seriously ill children, allowing them to see their dreams come true.

A highlight of the evening was the poignant testimony of one attendee, the uncle of a child who had been granted a wish. Through a heartfelt message, accompanied by a touching video, he shared the lasting impact this experience had on their entire extended family. The images showed moments of happiness and magic, reminding us how a wish granted transcends the moment and leaves a legacy of hope.

As we approach the holiday season, we warmly thank all the Wish Makers, organizers and participants of this evening for their support and commitment. Thanks to you, we continue to make stars shine in the eyes of those who need it most. Together, let's make this end of the year magical for every child.

Thank you for supporting Make-A-Wish and leading the way in making wishes come true!

Every year in Switzerland, many children receive a diagnosis that changes their lives forever. The joy of childhood suddenly gives way to medical treatments and hospital nights.

A wish granted gives back this childhood stolen by illness. It brings light and joy, leaving a lasting imprint on the hearts of the entire family.

Make a wish come true with us, because hope changes everything.
