On May 5 and 6, 2025, Make-A-Wish Switzerland & Liechtenstein had the privilege of hosting an information booth at the prestigious Holmes Place Geneva club. On this occasion, our volunteers Christelle, Petra, and Katia met with members to present our mission: to grant the wishes of critically ill children throughout Switzerland.
Located in the heart of the club, our ambassadors were able to engage in sincere and inspiring discussions with members. These moments of listening revealed a growing interest in meaningful causes, particularly those that support childhood and resilience in the face of illness. This type of encounter creates a natural bridge between the pursuit of personal well-being and contributing to collective well-being, by raising awareness among an attentive, active, and influential audience.
Fitness and wellness spaces like Holmes Place bring together people committed to self-improvement, balance, and transformation. These values resonate with the experiences of Make-A-Wish children:
- Seeking Inner Strength to Overcome Illness
- Projecting yourself into a dream to better face reality
- Live a transformative experience alongside their loved ones
These similarities open up prospects for authentic and lasting partnerships, where clubs can play an active role in spreading our mission while strengthening their responsible image within their community.
This type of collaboration enriches the club's offering by adding a human and supportive dimension, while offering its members an opportunity to take concrete action.
We warmly thank the team at Holmes Place Geneva for their welcome and trust. Together, we have sown seeds of awareness that we hope will sprout into future solidarity initiatives.
