My wish is to take a road trip to Aberdeen, Scotland, in a VW Bus

At only 8 years old, Keoni lives with a hypertension pulmonary, a serious illness that makes the heat difficult to bear. His greatest dream was to go to road trip in Scotland with his family – a country with a cooler climate and beautiful landscapes.

With the support of Make-A-Wish Switzerland and the generosity of our partners, this dream has become reality. With a VW T7 sponsored, the family was able to undertake this unique journey together.

On the road : Keoni loved the sounds and movements of the car and savored every moment spent traveling with his loved ones.
By the sea: The highlight was a walk along the beach. Thanks to a special wheelchair, Keoni was able to reach the shore and listen to the roar of the waves—his favorite sound. His sisters, meanwhile, happily jumped in the waves and marveled at the sight of dolphins.
Discovering Scotland: The family visited the coast, a flower garden, the city of Aberdeen and even Peterhead several times.

For Keoni and his family, this trip was more than just a getaway: an experience filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

“We are so grateful to have been able to create wonderful memories with all of our children.” – Keoni’s family

The family experienced their adventure aboard a magnificent bus. This was made possible thanks to the support of AMAG Schinznach-Bad, whom we thank from the bottom of our hearts!

Every year in Switzerland, many children receive a diagnosis that changes their lives forever. The joy of childhood suddenly gives way to medical treatments and hospital nights.

A wish granted gives back this childhood stolen by illness. It brings light and joy, leaving a lasting imprint on the hearts of the entire family.

Make a wish come true with us, because hope changes everything.

As for Keoni

Support a child who simply dreams of experiencing something unique, escaping the daily grind and experiencing a moment of pure happiness. Behind every dream lies a need for recognition, escape, or hope.
