Make-A-Wish Switzerland is delighted to announce that the second edition of its Drive for Wishes event took place on Saturday, October 18 at the Porsche Center Zurich in Schlieren.
For the second year in a row, Make-A-Wish families and children experienced a day full of joy, adrenaline, and unforgettable memories. More than 22 sports cars—including Lamborghini, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Porsche, Lotus, BMW, Audi, Lexus, Alfa Romeo, Ford, Chevrolet, and Dodge—were on display for the enjoyment of our young car enthusiasts.
Not only did the children have the chance to learn more about each vehicle and interact with their passionate owners, but the highlight of the day was undoubtedly when they got to take a special ride in their dream car!
Some even asked to listen to their favorite song during their walk, making every moment even more magical.
This exceptional day was made possible thanks to a wonderful group of car enthusiasts—our Wish Makers—who once again volunteered their time and passion to make even more wishes come true. Their generosity, their smiles, and the roar of their engines made this event a true symbol of hope and enthusiasm.
Families and children were delighted to be reunited, and especially to see their "driving heroes" from the first edition—sharing hugs, laughter, and stories far beyond the automotive world. It was also a wonderful opportunity for our volunteers and team to see the families they support throughout the "Wish Journey."
A huge thank you to our incredible partner Porsche, who once again generously donated their space and provided their full support to host this event, helping to make the wishes of many young car enthusiasts come true. We are also deeply grateful to their fantastic team for their warm welcome and flawless organization.
And of course, the day wouldn't have been complete without the gourmet touch of Faino, the Ukrainian food truck, which delighted everyone with its delicious flavors.
