How your company can become a part of a wish and create a lasting impact?
As a company, you have the power to create much more than a simple act of philanthropy: you can become a true partner in transformation for seriously ill children and their families. Through our collaboration with Groupe Minoteries SA (GMSA) – which offered "biscuits of the heart" and shared moments of joy with its employees and suppliers – we were able to see firsthand the impact of a structured and genuine corporate commitment.
1. Choose a meaningful commitment
Just as GMSA did by launching a creative and generous internal initiative, every company can identify an initiative that reflects its values. Whether it's a charity sale, an internal campaign, a thank-you activity, or mobilizing suppliers, as long as the action directly contributes to our mission of granting wishes, it becomes meaningful and impactful.
2. Include your employees and your clients
When your employees and partners are involved, the wave of solidarity becomes collective. This is a great example of customer and employee engagement working together to make wishes come true.
3. Co-creating a wish
Supporting Make-A-Wish also means directly contributing to the granting of a wish: supporting its funding, its organization, or offering a service or skill. This approach allows you to put a human face on your company's commitment and to measure the concrete impact on the life of a child and their family.
A great example: the magnificent initiative of the Groupe Minoteries SA
The Minoteries SA Group has chosen to say "THANK YOU" to its employees in order to create a real chain of solidarity between all parties: its customers, its employees and Make-A-Wish.
For the end of the year, they came up with a generous and heartwarming initiative:
Handcrafted "Spitzbuben" to warm hearts
GMSA collaborated with its partner, the Moos bakery, which prepared 1,200 artisanal biscuits especially to thank the group's employees.
Each employee, on the 7 GMSA sitesreceived four biscuits to celebrate the autumn season and recognize their daily commitment.
A chain of generosity where every player counts
The Moos bakery added its own contribution:
a discount of 400 CHF on the production of the biscuits, entirely donated to Make-A-Wish.
Thus, customers, suppliers, employees, and the company all participated in the same act of solidarity. A true chain of mutual support where every gesture counts, and where each stakeholder contributes to an impact far greater than the sum of their individual actions.
A donation to grant even more wishes
Alongside this gesture of internal appreciation, GMSA has chosen to support Make-A-Wish with a donation dedicated to the wishes of seriously ill children.
Thanks to this initiative, the foundation will be able to continue its mission and offer even more moments of hope, strength and joy.
We express our sincerest gratitude to GMSA and the Moos bakery for this action of great human sensitivity.
Their initiative perfectly demonstrates how a company, its employees and its partners can join forces to create a real social impact.
