On Thursday, January 15, 2026, the new Lidl store in Vernier opened its doors to the public. On this occasion, Make-A-Wish Switzerland & Liechtenstein was fortunate to benefit from a charitable partnership with Lidl as part of this inauguration day.
To mark the opening, several stands provided by Lidl were staffed by Make-A-Wish volunteers. Their presence helped welcome the first customers, create a warm and friendly atmosphere, and contribute to building customer loyalty from the very first day.
In return for this collaboration, a generous sum was donated to Make-A-Wish to support the fulfillment of a seriously ill child's wish.
We sincerely thank Lidl for thinking of our foundation and for supporting us. This type of partnership allows us to go further in our mission, to raise awareness of Make-A-Wish among the general public, to create human connections, and to raise funds to offer even more hope to sick children and their families in their fight against illness.
