“There is nothing more beautiful than a child's smile!
Make a Wish's amazing missions not only help patients realize their dreams, but also their entire families find courage through the stars in their little ones' eyes.
It is a huge honor for me to be an Ambassador for such a wonderful Foundation!”

“I was immediately touched by what Make-A-Wish was doing for sick children. I know that dreams play an important role in everyone’s development and that living what is most important to us is an extraordinary feeling of accomplishment. I am also aware that if my health had not accompanied me during all these years, it would never have been possible for me to set foot in space.
Being a patron of Make-A-Wish is a huge honor for me. I am proud to be able to represent a foundation that defends such a "magical" cause and I wish the whole team to be able to bring joy to more and more children and their families, who so deserve it."

Thabo Sefolosha
NBA Basketball Player and Ambassador
The actions that Make-A-Wish carries out are very important to me. Trying to bring smiles to children's faces and doing what you can to share their dreams is completely in line with my philosophy. It's a way of feeling useful.
“Thabo” means “the one who brings joy” in the Sotho dialect. Partnering with Make-A-Wish, Thabo hopes to bring joy in the same way his basketball dream brought him.

Every year end everyone makes a wish, whether it comes true or not is a matter of believing in it. As we get older and with time, some come true.
For the Make-A-Wish children, it is important to act quickly because time is running out! That is why I am giving them time to help them make their wishes come true.
It's a way of being a godfather of the heart!
Guillaume
Former Make-A-Wish Child and Ambassador
If I am a Make-A-Wish ambassador today, it is because my wish came true in April 2014. I was able to meet the coaches of the show "The Voice" in Paris. I immediately accepted when Make-A-Wish asked me to represent them, since they made my dearest wish come true and it was incredible, I thank them from the bottom of my heart.
Guillaume is our star! He performs regularly at our events and sings wonderfully well.

Make-A-Wish Foundation has brought so much strength and incredibly positive hope into my life. It was absolutely magical. I was amazed and couldn't believe what was happening to me.
What was prepared by Make-A-Wish was of a unique quality and an unforgettable experience. And the anticipation of meeting my idol, drummer Joey Jordison, further increased the thrill of this adventure that forged my determination and ambition to believe that in life, nothing is impossible.
I am now a second year student at the Institute of Modern Music in Manchester and a singer-songwriter active on the North West scene. Prior to this I had the honour of receiving a first year diploma from LIPA from the one and only Sir Paul McCartney. I couldn't believe my eyes when he handed me the diploma.
Music is my life, it makes my heart beat, it is my true means of expression. My goal is to interact with people who are ready to listen to me, make them feel understood and give them a moment of escape and happiness.
Make-A-Wish has given me the means to take that step forward, make my dreams come true, and live the rest of my life with passion and hope. When I look back, my wish granted has definitely played a big role in choosing my career and living a happy life. I am proud to be a Make-A-Wish Ambassador whose purpose is to bring joy and hope to children with serious illnesses by granting quality wishes.

I support Make-A-Wish because I am a father and I know what children can wish for in their wildest dreams.
I support Make-A-Wish because I am still a child dreaming myself.
I support Make-A-Wish because illness should not be a fatality but rather a reason to live your dreams.

« Life is too short " was one of my mother's favorite sayings and nothing could be more true for a child suffering from an illness. Having accepted this immense honor of being a Make-A-Wish Ambassador, the idea that I might be able to help, even for a short while, the daily plight of a child and their family is very rewarding. I come from a hospitality background, so I understand very well how people can touch others and that is what Make-A-Wish does every day. They will always have my full support.
