How can I be sure my donation is used effectively?
The Make-A-Wish Switzerland and Liechtenstein Foundation is supervised by the Federal Foundation Supervisory Authority. Its accounts are annually audited by Russell Bedford Fiduciary. Each donation directly contributes to fulfilling children’s wishes that also include all family members.
How does tax deduction work for my donation?
If you reside in Switzerland or Liechtenstein, your donations to Make-A-Wish are tax-deductible. We automatically send you a tax certificate following your donation.
Can I make a monthly donation? How do I modify or stop it?
Yes, you can opt for a monthly donation. You maintain complete control: you can modify the amount or stop your support at any time. No minimum commitment is required.
How can I include Make-A-Wish in my will?
You also have the option to include Make-A-Wish in your will. You can designate our foundation as a beneficiary when establishing your will, alongside your family and loved ones. Of course, you can modify this decision at any time during your lifetime.
As our organization is recognized as a public benefit institution, it is exempt from inheritance tax. Your bequest or inheritance donation will therefore be fully transferred to our foundation and used to directly help seriously ill children and contribute to fulfilling their dearest wishes.
