In the year of its 20th anniversary, Make-A-Wish wanted to mark the occasion by taking part in various festivals to raise its profile with the general public. Indeed, what better way than to go out and meet people so that they can discover or rediscover our foundation and its mission. In this way, we will also reach more beneficiaries and be able to help more children.

That’s why Make-A-Wish had a stand from 18 to 23 July at the legendary Paléo Festival in Nyon. A music festival, but also a meeting place for many people.

Our volunteers and team were on hand to explain our activities, answer questions, publicise our needs and offer visitors the chance to help us in some way. There was also a wishing tree on the stand, where visitors could write a symbolic wish to show their solidarity.

Thank you to everyone who took part and showed interest.

From 30 June to 15 July 2023, Make-A-Wish was honoured to have an information stand at the Montreux Jazz Festival. We were there to explain our activities to interested visitors at the entrance to the Auditorium Stravinski, the venue for many of the concerts. It was a wonderful opportunity to present ourselves to different audiences and raise awareness of our mission, in order to reach more beneficiaries and potential partners and supporters. These were magical moments, with music and good company, which are always important for the visibility of our cause. A huge thank you to the entire Montreux Jazz Festival team for this fantastic opportunity.

On a beautiful evening in June 2023, the wonderful Rotaract Club Zurich International put on a fantastic event in support of Make-A-Wish on the shores of Lake Zurich.

Everything was in place to ensure that the participants had a wonderful evening: friendly people, breathtaking surroundings, plenty to eat and drink, water sports activities and the chance to share a convivial moment and meet some great people.

Their colleagues from Rotary Zurich International were also present, and all the participants had an unforgettable evening.

A huge thank you to all the organisers for preparing all this to support Make-A-Wish and the children’s next wishes, and to all the participants for their generosity and interest in our cause.
