Théotime – Orient express

Theotime has been reading Agatha Christie’s stories since he was a child, he is a big fan of these books, but more particularly of one story… the one where a train is mentioned, but not just any train… He has always dreamt of travelling and discovering the sumptuous Orient Express!

He had to wait for the pandemic to pass and for freedom to return in order to see his wish come true. After much patience, it was in December 2022 that Theotime and his family flew to the magnificent Austrian capital, where they were greeted by a hostess on arrival. The hostess gave Theotime a stuffed animal, which later became the mascot of the trip! The family and Theotime spent the night in a beautiful hotel in Vienna. A letter for Theotime and balloons were waiting for him in his room on arrival.

When they arrived at the train station in Vienna, they immediately noticed music and a bellboy in a royal blue suit, and that’s when the adventure began. A guard of honour was present to welcome the passengers. The train was full of Christmas energy, wood everywhere, Christmas tree decorations, red flowers hanging in the windows, a pianist playing joyful and festive tunes, everything was perfect. A wonderful surprise awaited Theotime, an apron embroidered with his name! When he received it, he was so moved, that tears came.

This trip was a wonderful dream for Theotime and his family, and it is now recorded in their minds as one of the best moments they have ever experienced as a family.
